What we collect
Property search queries — when you run a free or paid check, we log the country, city, bedroom count, size, and asking price you entered. We do not collect your name or email address for free checks.
Email address — collected only when you purchase a full report, for the purpose of delivering that report to you.
Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
IP address — used solely for rate limiting (3 free checks per IP per day). Not linked to any personal profile.
Anonymous analytics — page views and general usage patterns via Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymisation enabled.
What we don't collect

- — Tracking cookies beyond anonymous analytics
How we use your data
We use your data only to provide the service you requested: running property comparisons and delivering paid reports. We do not sell your data, share it with estate agents, or use it for advertising.
Data retention
Free search logs (IP address + search parameters, no personal data) are retained for 90 days for rate limiting purposes, then automatically deleted.
Email addresses and report data are retained for 12 months after the report date, then deleted. Payment records are retained as required by UK financial law (typically 6 years).

Your rights

Cookies
We use only functional cookies (session management) and anonymous analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can opt out of analytics via your browser settings or a cookie consent tool.
